Elliot comes from an average family. Both his parents encouraged him in whatever his current fascination was. Eventually he found horse back riding, trading barn chores for lessons as much as he possibly could. Unfortunately, his father left when he was still fairly young. With a fast budding talent for riding, Elliot's mother worked three jobs to be able to afford him every change to ride and show.
Because he didn't want his mother's efforts to go to waste, Elliot swore he would become the best rider and make his mother proud. He already loved to study, and so poured his efforts into learning everything he possibly could about horses and riding. At fifteen, he was showing on the national circuit. It wasn't long before his talent caught the attention of various sponsors and owners alike. All wanted him to ride their horses.
Luther was one such person, a rising trainer who had been putting together a team to ride the European circuit. He scouted Elliot to join him and Elliot readily accepted, moving to the UK to live and train at Luther's stables there. Five years ago, when Luther was invited to come to Breckenwood to take over as the head trainer at Whittemore, Elliot came with him and joined the riding team there.
