Breckenwood. It was a huge change from the city Elizabeth had grown up in and knew. Small and quaint, nestled in a quiet bay area. Honestly she was excited to be here. No one knew her name, her parents wouldn't look for her in a place such as this. Best of all, there were no expectations from anyone other than herself. It was perfect. Her stomach did flips as the plane descended from the sky, the blonde ex-heiress never much one for flying. Her knuckles were white from the intensity of her grip on the armrests of her seat and she breathed a sigh of relief when they touched down and began their taxi to the gate.

This hadn't been her first choice for a new home, or her second. Since graduating from Oxford, her search for a job in her relevant field had been more difficult that she anticipated. The first few firms had initially been amicable to her resume, impressed by her university alone, but ultimately had disregarded her in favour of other people who had ranked higher in their classes. Finally though, she'd landed an interview at a reputable firm. The first round had been a phone call, the second a video call, both of which she'd passed. The third and final was an in person interview and so she'd booked her flight.

Not wanting to live in another city, she'd taken notice of the small town just a short drive from the city and had applied and been approved for an apartment there. She would arrive at the airport, take a taxi from the airport to her new flat to pick up the keys and then relax and sleep. Her interview wasn't until a little later in the week so she would have plenty of time to settle in and get her bearings. There was so much to do when moving with nothing but a small suitcase of clothing and a few personal mementos from her life before. Furniture to be bought, transportation to be arranged, but it was nothing she couldn't handle. Anything was ultimately easier than what her life had been before.

She waited patiently until the seat belt light was turned off and the captain came over the intercom to announce their arrival and let the passengers know they were clear to begin collecting their luggage and exit the plane. Elizabeth, no Finley, followed the string of people moving down the aisles and thanked the flight staff as she stepped from plane to solid ground once again. First things first, a coffee. Walking through the terminal she spotted a coffee shop and made a beeline towards it, hopping in line behind another blonde woman she recognised from the plane she'd just arrived on. "This line is crazy," she said, "but I suppose it makes sense with the influx of passengers that just walked through the terminal."
